CANDYLAND is a comedic and poignant female-driven series (half-hour and hour script versions available) with two intertwined storylines. A Pollyanna people-pleaser gives refuge to a unique tenant (a semi-misogynistic character under house-arrest) to help her launch and manage an online ‘matures’ dating website, CANDYLAND, while with highly different approaches to life, they hysterically resist falling in love. They are the ‘yin and yang’, the ‘push and pull‘ of successful romantic comedies.
CANDYLAND’s unstoppable Gen Xers and Baby Boomer site members (well-known ‘mature’ cameo performers) and their irrepressible, hilarious antics, managed by their Pollyanna and her ‘Tony Soprano’ house-arrest ‘nanny apartment’ resident above the office/garage site headquarters, play raucous havoc with Candyland’s business and personal relationships.
